Sustainability

Our collections are made in limited quantities to ensure quality and to reduce waste. All our pieces are designed and made locally in San Francisco, California. We value our community and believe that investing locally would help us all thrive. We strive to find new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and to ensure that our practices are both environmentally friendly and sustainable. We are a member of 1% For The Planet, a global movement aimed to support environmental nonprofit organizations. We will be donating 1% of all purchases to help protect the planet and to provide an equitable future for all to thrive.

OUR MATERIALS

TENCEL™ Lyocell: Spun from sustainable wood pulp, this closed-looped process recovers 99% of all solvents used. It requires less water and reduces CO2 emissions. The fibers are compostable and biodegradable. It is super-soft, highly breathable, gentle on the skin and tend to wrinkle less. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.

Organic Cotton: Grown without toxic pesticides, herbicides and insecticides, organic cotton maintains soil fertility, promotes biologically diverse agriculture and is less harmful to the environment. Its durable fibers get softer after every wash.

Hemp: Made from industrial cannabis sativa fibers, hemp textiles are grown without toxic pesticides and herbicides. This high-yielding crop returns 60–70% of the nutrients it takes from the soil, keeping it rich. It has thermal-regulating properties and can also protect against UV rays. Hemp textile is highly durable, gets softer with use and retains its shape.
